My thought were that we would use the stuff I'm putting up right now as a sort of springboard regarding what is going on now in the game - a sort of learning from the past. That way we spend less time doing the detective discussion during game night and make a little more action-pacing orientation.

What do you think?

Yes, this is from the Player's guide. It is absolutely geared toward the system in places, even in areas where it was meant to be flavor. We'll need to do some serious editing, I agree.

I was glad to hear a few sessions back of Jared bringing up the point of illustrations. It would be good to sit down and start fleshing things out, but I wouldn't want to eat up too much game time.

Yes, that's right. He saw where the fault lay, corrected the issue to make sure that the process was proper, then he set forth to destroy the undead.

Aha! So the "flow of magic" is the angle we were working to get any attention from the Dragon of the Thesh Mountains!

This is from the player's guide, right? Your writing style is very different here than your normal narratives, I guess because of being source material? Anyway, I've not read nearly enough of this stuff, clearly, because it's like I'm reading something someone else wrote.

It is very D&D steeped, particularly in the descriptions of the dragons. It really shows me an idea of just how much work has gone into dovetailing the system, and also how much is going to have to be done to "break" that dovetail to be more generic.
